सफ़र के साथ वक़्त

भी बदल जाएगा !

जो छुट गया आज वो

कल नहीं आएगा !

खो जायेगा वो कल

हज़ारों “ कल ” में

जैसे आटे में नमक घुल जायेगा

रह जायेगा तू इंतज़ार करता

रह जाएगी सिर्फ यादे जीने को

और हल भी जीने

बीत जाने पर भी हज़ारों कल

सिसक-सिसक के रोना खुशियों में

बदल ही जाएगा !

पत्थर दिल वाला इन्सान

भी एक दिन पिघल जायेगा !

खुशियाँ मिलेगी

तुझे आने वाले कल में

बंद ताले की दो चाबियाँ

और वो जंग लगा ताला

आज भी बरसों की भाँति

उसी गेट पर लटका है

चाबियाँ टूट रहीं है

उसे खोलने के दौरान ।

अब वो उन ठेक लगे हाथों की

मेहनत भी नहीं समझता

जिन्होंने उसे एक रूप दिया

उन ठेक लगे हाथों की

मेहनत की कीमत से दूर वो

आज महत्वाकांक्षी बन गया है

अपने अहं से दूसरों को दबाकर

स्वाभिमान की कीमत गवां रहा है

प्यार में दो तरह की Relationships होती है-

1 - Close Relationship

2 - Long Distance Relationship

Close Relationship में जहाँ लड़का और लड़की हर वक़्त साथ रहते हैं, साथ घूमते हैं, मॉल, बाज़ार, सड़क जैसी सार्वजनिक जगह में एक दुसरे का हाथ इतनी कस के पकड़े रहते हैं मानो जन्म से ही हाथों में फेविकोल लगा  दिया गया हो, खैर, ये प्राय: थिएटर की कोने वाली सीट में, गार्डन में पेड़ के नीचे या झाड़ियों के पीछे भी पाए जाते हैं। और हाँ यहाँ मैंने लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप वालो का ज़िक्र इसलिए नहीं किया क्योंकि वो भी काफ़ी हद तक इनसे ही मिलते जुलते हैं।

वहीँ इसके उलट बेचारे Long Distance Relationship वाले हर समय फ़ोन या इन्टरनेट के साथ ही पाये जाते हैं। क्योंकि यही उनका पहला और आखरी सहारा होता है जिसके ज़रिये वो एक दूसरे से बात कर पाते है या एक दूसरे को देख पाते हैं। इनके मन में हर वक़्त कुछ न कुछ डर समाया रहता है, ये insecurity से भरे रहते हैं, कहीं मेरे पार्टनर का किसी और के साथ चक्कर तो नहीं, कहीं वो किसी और के साथ तो नहीं घूम रहा/रही, कहीं मेरे फ़ोन रखने के बाद वो किसी और से तो बात नहीं कर रहा/रही....ऐसा तो नहीं की मेरे अलावा वो किसी और से भी चैट करने में busy हो.....ऒहहह....कितना कुछ है इनके पास सोचने के लिए।

Close Relationship वालों के पास सोचने के लिये कुछ ख़ास होता ही नहीं। इसमें कई फ़ायदे हैं आप कभी भी अपने पार्टनर का फ़ोन उठा के कॉल डिटेल या inbox चेक कर सकते हैं, उसकी बेस्ट फ्रेंड को पटा के उसके बारे में हर ख़बर रख़ सकते हैं, वो जहाँ भी जाये वहां सरप्राइज देने के बहाने पहुंच सकते हैं, हर वक़्त उसके साथ फ़ोन पर लगे रह सकते हैं क्योंकि लोकल कॉल पर तो अम्बानी भी फ़िदा हैं, पार्टनर को उनसे ही बात करने देते है जिन्हें वो खुद जानते हों, कॉलेज, ऑफिस जो भी हो ख़ुद छोड़ने जाते है और ख़ुद लेने भी आते हैं। पार्टनर के सुबह जागने से लेकर रात को सोने तक की हर छोटी से बड़ी ख़बर रखते हैं, Insecurity नाम की चिड़िया तो इनके आस-पास भी नहीं उड़ती। (शायद)

वैसे फ़ायदे तो Long Distance Relationship में भी कम नहीं हैं। उसमें पार्टनर अपका फ़ोन चेक तो क्या छू भी नहीं सकता, किसी से भी बात करो पार्टनर देखने तो आयेगा नहीं, फ़ोन पर भी हर समय नहीं रहा जा सकता कॉल STD जो है, जैसे चाहो वैसे रहो टोकने के लिए पार्टनर तो है ही नहीं। मूवी देखते वक़्त ये भी बोल दो की घर में गाने सुन रहे तब भी उसे मानना पड़ेगा, क्योंकि वो बेचारी/बेचारा आपको सरप्राइज देने अचानक पहुँच भी तो नहीं सकती/सकता।

रिलेशनशिप जो भी हो सबसे ज़रूरी है एक-दूसरे के लिए विश्वास। हमें अपनी सोच कभी भी दूसरे के ऊपर थोपनी नहीं चाहिए, शक नाम की बिमारी को कभी भी बीच की दीवार नहीं बनने देना चाहिए, दूर हो या पास ज़रूरी है एक दूसरे के साथ होना, एक दूसरे के लिए निश्छल, निस्वार्थ प्यार होना, शिकवे-शिकायत करने के लिए पूरी ज़िन्दगी पड़ी है, लेकिन अगर साथ है तो प्यार करने के लिए एक ज़िन्दगी भी कम पड़ जाती है।

The Lunchbox - Review

The Lunchbox (Hindi): Director Ritesh Batra's directorial debut is raw, warm, humane, no nonsense and a beautiful film which has shades of European Cinema and Neo Realism in its fold. The film scores because of its brilliant and original screenplay, which was written by Batra and was also developed in Rotterdam, Berlin and Torino film festivals. It has an excellent development with unpredictable moments , a twisty climax and crackling dialogues, despite the second half having few hiccups. This love story over the Dabbas and Letters has been well portrayed in the film which won the Critics Choice Award at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Then it's the cinematography by Michael Simmonds that beautifully captures the Mumbai locals , the dabbawalas and locales and his long takes are actually a reminiscent of European films and old Hollywood classics . Editing by John F. Lyons is beautiful and he takes motif based shots and even the shots of the moving trains and places them well to make the film's travel smoothly. The performances by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nimrat Kaur, Nakul Vaid, Lillete Dubey, Denzil Smith and Bharati Acharekar are brilliant and they stand out well with their flawless performances. Irrfan Khan revisits his "Paan Singh Tomar" charm and makes you bear with him at every moment of the film. Please go for this film for a warm cinematic venture for it's originality, warmth and rawness in it's narrative and a twisty romantic fold.

हांफ रही है पूंजी

बहुत तेजी से भागती है पूंजी 

मानो वक्त से आगे निकल जाना हो इसे 

मानो अपनी मुट्ठी में दबोच लेना हो समूचा ब्रह्माण्ड 

समूची धरती, खेत, नदियाँ और पहाड़ 

बच्चों की किलकारियां,

आज़ादाना नारे, 

और वह सब कुछ

  Dance is a passion.. a profession.. a habit and moreover "a source of peace." But unfortunately the face of Indian dancing has changed into an exercise. Dance was worshiped in India at times. But now the dance itself feels monotonous. There was also a time when dancers were disrespected in India but then too dance had an another meaning in India. Undoubtedly the fusion looks good always youngsters have their own meaning of dance these days.. But behind this brightness the Indian classical seems to be lost somewhere. People are rushing towards all other forms but the Indian classical is nowhere in the demands.

  Noticing some reality shows on Indian television these days, apparently I have realized that contestants who goes down on their ranking, choose a very famous formula of regaining the top position which is simplest of all, they dance less and showcase the strength through 'stunts.' This has become the most successful "mantra" these days.

  And so the parents are sending their children to various dance schools just to learn such challenging dance forms. They are forced by the Dance criteria adopted by India these days.

  Apart from the above situations some people are still focused towards Indian classical dance. Most of the senior citizens don't even prefer to watch these shows nowadays as they are least interested in such western style of dancing. Although this is also a form of dance and it feels good to watch India moving with the time and competing with the world through dance but It really does not mean that the Indian classical will be ignored in such manner.

  Merging all of the above, I would just like to raise a question to everybody that no matter dance is a dance but is it really cool to ignore our own Indian form and highlight other form that too adopted ones? Correct me if I am wrong but I just want to equalize all forms of dance. The motive is to encourage DANCE.. no matter what form it is..and from where it has come.

DEFENCE LAWER’S COMMENT SPARKS HUGE CRITICISM: Makes a Mockery of the Judiciary and Contempts court.

The nation’s desperate wait finally ended when on 13^th September’2013, a Delhi fast track court gave its final verdict on the much infamous Delhi gangrape case that took place on December 16^th2012, which was eventually followed by haling protest all across the country. And all the protests and peoples’ outrages were answered with the court granting death penalty to all the four accused amongst the total six, where one being a juvenile was granted seven years imprisonment by the Juvenile Justice Board, whereas the prime accused Ram Singh had already committed suicide.

Now, shifting focus towards today’s decision, what happened inside the court certainly gives enough reason to celebrate, but the outside scenario is extremely the opposite. After comments by the defense lawyer Mr. A.P. Singh, it compels us to think what have we learnt from the abhorrent incident and how far we have come after one of the most heinous crimes that took place on that fateful night of December 16. The lawyer’s insensible comments would certainly intrigue one to think how much insensate, spurious and stereotyped this man could be. In Mr. Singh’s words, while briefing the media after the delivery of the verdict, he made certain disgusting statement hurting the dignity of the departed victim further assassinating her character, stating, “Why don’t people first control their own daughters? I’d burn my daughter alive if she was having pre-marital sex and roaming around with her boy friend at night.”

He didn’t simply restrict himself till this and went even further criticizing the decision of the court where some of his comments gave clear snippets of breaching THE CONTEMPT OF COURTS ACT, 1971.

In Sec 2(C) of the act it’s clearly stated that, the publication (whether by words, spoken or written, or by signs, or by visible representations, or otherwise) of any matter or the doing of any other act whatsoever which-

(i) Scandalizes or tends to scandalize, or lowers or tends to lower the authority of, any court; or

(ii) Prejudices, or interferes or tends to interfere with, the due course of any judicial proceeding; or

(iii) Interferes or tends to interfere with, or obstructs or tends to obstruct, the administration of justice in any other manner,

is a criminal contempt of the court.

Coming back to the defense lawyer, Mr. A.P. Singh, in his statement to the media there’s a clear instinct of the violation of this act as he said, “It is regrettable that in the judgment in the case of the December 16 gang rape has been completely dictated by the government. The judge without giving its due thought and under political pressure, without considering the evidence or witness has handed all four convicts the death sentence”. He further stated that the verdict made by the court was under utmost political pressure by the Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde”. He not only criticized the court’s decision but further asserted it to be influenced by alien forces, further the defense lawyer Mr. Mr. A.P. Singh, detrimented the stature of the judge calling his decision to be one without any due thought and thrust by the political class. This is absolute bizarre, making a jest of the most respected judiciary system of the country.

Indian constitution terms the judiciary to be an independent body, providing it with absolute power, which makes it the most respectable and supreme body of the country. However, statements like that of Mr. A.P. Singh, has certainly made a mockery of it.

Though the defense lawyer’s statement resulted in huge public and media criticism and protest in bits and pieces, however it would be interesting to find out, does Mr. A.P. Singh face the law for scandalizing and disrespecting the supreme body of the country.

चार्ट बनने के बाद भी मिलेगा कन्फर्म टिकेट .

कई बार अचानक ट्रेन से कहीं जाने का प्लान बन जाता है और  रेल में रिजर्वेशन कन्फर्म नहीं मिल पाता है। या फिर चार्ट बन जाता है और वेटिंग टिकट भी नहीं मिलता है। ऐसे में आपको खड़े होकर या घूस देकर ट्रेन से सफर करना पड़ता है। अगर आपके साथ भी ऐसा है तो अब घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है जनाब। जी हां, अब ट्रेन का रिजर्वेशन चार्ट बन जाने के बाद आपको कन्फर्म टिकट मिल सकता है।

अब आप सोच रहे होंगे कि आखिर रिजर्वेशन चार्ट बन जाने के बाद और ट्रेन जाने से 10 मिनट पहले तक कैसे कन्फर्म रेल टिकट मिल सकता है, लेकिन ऐसा हो सकता है। आप कन्फर्म टिकट पाकर कभी भी अपनी सीट पर सफर कर सकते हैं।

दरअसल, ट्रेन में सफर करने के लिए अब कन्फर्म टिकट होना जरूरी हो गया है। बिना कन्फर्म टिकट के रेलवे ने सफर पर रोक लगा दिया है। ऐसे में हम आपको टिकट पाने का तरीका बता रहे हैं

रेलवे में चार्ट बनने और ट्रेन छूटने से पहले कुछ शर्तों के साथ कन्फर्म टिकट पाने को लेकर एक नियम है। इस नियम के तहत ही भारतीय रेल ने देश के अधिकतर स्टेशन पर एक-एक करंट टिकट काउंटर खोल रखे हैं।

अब आप सोच रहे होंगे कि आखिर ये करंट टिकट काउंटर क्या है,  तो जनाब यही तो चार्ट बनने के बाद भी सीट रहने पर टिकट मिलने का तरीका है। यह तरीका ठीक उसी तरह काम करता है जो स्टेशन पर जाकर रिजर्वेशन कराने का होता है। 

रेलवे का करंट टिकट काउंटर बनाने का मकसद चार्ट बनने के बाद और ट्रेन छूटने से पहले तक खाली सीटों का रिजर्वेशन करवाना है, ताकि ट्रेन में सीटें खाली न रह जाएं। 

अब आपका अगला सवाल ये हो सकता है कि करंट काउंटर से टिकट पाने का क्या तरीका है, तो जनाब इस काउंटर से टिकट पाने के लिए आपको एक रिजर्वेशन फॉर्म भरना पड़ेगा। 

यह फॉर्म नॉर्मल रिजर्वेशन फॉर्म की तरह ही होता है। इस फॉर्म में पूरी डिटेल भरने के बाद विंडो पर बैठे क्लर्क को देना पड़ेगा।

क्लर्क उस ट्रेन में चार्ट बनने के बाद बची हुई सीटों का स्टेट्स चेक करेगा और अगर सीट खाली होगी तो बिना कोई अतिरिक्त चार्ज लिए रिजर्वेशन चार्ज के साथ टिकट बुक कर देगा। सीट खाली न होने पर आपको इस बारे में बता देगा।

दिल्ली सहित कई जगह आप ऑनलाइन बिना स्टेशन जाए भी ये पता कर सकते हैं कि आखिर चार्ट बनने के बाद किस ट्रेन में कितनी सीटें खाली रह गई हैं। ऑनलाइन चेक करने के बाद जिस ट्रेन में खाली हो, स्टेशन पर जाकर उस ट्रेन में टिकट ले लें।

ध्यान देने वाली बात ये है कि ऑनलाइन चेक करने से अच्छा ये है कि सीधे स्टेशन पर जाकर चेक करें और तुरंत टिकट बुक करा लें। दिलचस्प है कि ऑनलाइन चेक करने के बाद कई बार स्टेशन पहुंचते-पहुंचते ही सारी खाली सीटें भर जाती हैं।

आपको बताते चलें कि करंट काउंटर से टिकट बुक करने की सुविधा ऑनलाइन न होकर केवल स्टेशन पर ही मिलती है।इन लिंक पर क्लिक कर आप चार्ट बनने के बाद बची खाली सीटों के बारे में जान सकते हैं-
